Funding the Future: Recovery Resources for Hurricane Helene

Join us on May 9 for NCEDA’s annual WNC Regional Networking Luncheon in Asheville. NCEDA is excited to partner with CarolinaWest for this year’s luncheon—an afternoon of connection, collaboration, and conversation with economic development professionals, elected officials, and key partners from across the region.

This year’s program will highlight funding resources available for Hurricane Helene recovery efforts. We’ll begin with welcoming remarks from NC Senator Kevin Corbin, followed by a distinguished panel:

Scott Hamilton - President & CEO, Golden LEAF Foundation and NCEDA Past President
Desiree Kennedy - Program Officer, Governor’s Recovery Office for Western North Carolina (GROW NC)
The Honorable Lee Lilley - Secretary, NC Department of Commerce

The panel will be moderated by Erica Anderson of the Land of Sky Regional Council. Together, they will share timely updates and valuable insights on targeted funding opportunities aimed at supporting recovery and resilience efforts across Western North Carolina.
