Ramah Malebranche is an education strategist and the Senior Manager of the Southeast Region at Western Governors University (WGU). With over a decade of cross-sector experience at the nexus of education, technology, and equity, Ramah leads regional growth strategies that drive workforce-aligned access to higher education across the Southeast U.S.

At WGU, he forges strategic partnerships with state agencies, businesses, and community organizations, including non-employer partnerships, to amplify educational impact and expand pathways for learners. His leadership is characterized by an interdisciplinary approach, rooted in innovation and systems thinking, and informed by a deep commitment to democratizing education.

Previously, Ramah served as a Senior Consultant at WGU Labs, where he co-authored foundational policies for the university’s accredited Prison Education Program and guided early-stage edtech ventures through strategic growth. A former educator and award-winning creative, he brings a human-centered lens to all his work—translating bold ideas into scalable outcomes.

Ramah holds an MFA from Columbia College Chicago and a BA from Southern Illinois University. He is based in Raleigh-Durham and remains an active voice in national conversations on inclusive learning models, educational technology, and systemic change.
