Event Details

Join your colleagues, counterparts, partners and allies in Pinehurst for a candid and valuable dialogue regarding the assets, ideas and opportunities that can connect your organization to its strategic and tactical goals. On hand will be experts covering the latest on business, finance, product development, workforce and other issues. Complementing the discussions will be opportunities for informal networking over fine food and beverages, music, and a diverse array of both indoor and outdoor recreational activities. Don’t miss this exciting chance to learn, grow and sharpen your keys to success!

The conference will also feature a professional development workshop on Wednesday afternoon - Looking at Numbers 101: How to Spot Red Flags in Corporate FinancialsEconomic development is about marketing and client development, right? But how do we identify financial red flags when working with companies and projects that may, in the end, not be all that viable. This workshop will provide understandable guidance on how practitioners can access and interpret corporate financials in order to avoid ugly surprises later on. Experienced leaders from NC Commerce will share their valuable expertise on what to look for – and look out for – in the numbers.
