Lead, Serve, and Shape NCEDA’s Future

Interested in applying for the NCEDA Board of Directors? Join us for this virtual session that will introduce prospective applicants to board service and provide insight into the expectations and responsibilities of leadership within the organization.

NCEDA staff and leadership will outline the board application and selection process and highlight recent updates aimed at creating a more consistent and accessible experience. Participants will also gain a clearer understanding of the level of commitment involved in serving on the board. Topics covered during the session will include:

• Board application timeline
• Annual board meeting schedule
• Key aspects of board service
• Recent updates to the application and selection process
• Expectations of serving on a working board including committee involvement and active participation in NCEDA programs and initiatives
