The presentation will cover topics relevant to economic development professionals, with a special focus on labor market data and trends.
Prior to joining Indeed, Laura spent over six years as a Senior Regional Economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond and 12 years as an economic professor and associate dean for undergraduate programs at Winthrop University. Her research interests include higher education, labor participation, local and state level tax and expenditure analyses, and the economic impact of local development. Laura holds a doctorate and a master’s degree in economics from the University of Tennessee and a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Georgia.
